Meet Ellen

I am licensed as a Professional Counselor, and Art Therapist to Practice Psychotherapy and Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I am certified as a Trauma Specialist and Sex Therapist. I have acquired training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR II) plus advanced diagnostic training in Thought Field Therapy (TFT). My specialized knowledge in Soma-Synthesis (Shen Natural Healing Methods) and Reiki Mastership add a unique healing advantage to my practice.

My clinical professional philosophy is framed within a holistic approach to treatment. I believe the client benefits deeply from gaining a sense of cognitive and emotional balance thru the mind, body and spirit experience. I enjoy working with a teamed approach as it provides quality in service. I have studied several disciplines because I have found that it helps me better understand the client, thus being more efficient in meeting their needs and guiding them to their goal.
